About BTANYS
The Business Teachers Association of New York State is a voluntary professional organization made up of an executive board that consists of officers, special directors, and regional directors. Also serving on the executive board are friends of BTA, which include textbook publishers and our liaison from the New York State Department of Education, Jon Greenwalt.
Our mission statement is:

Message from the BTA President
On behalf of the entire BTA Executive Board, I would like to welcome you to our official website. We are excited about business and marketing education in New York State. Our excitement is demonstrated through all of innovative and creative ideas of our membership based on their knowledge and expertise of business and marketing education. These ideas are being shared at our annual conferences, at regional workshops, in our newsletters, by our publishers and other friends of business education.
Our success depends on your membership and involvement; you truly need to be involved to reap the benefits of your membership and the benefits of all the wonderful resources you will find on our "members only" section of our website and also at our sponsored events. Your involvement consists of sharing ideas and information, attending our annual conferences and regional events, and networking with other business education professionals across the state. Objectives
- To stimulate professional growth
- To protect the interests of business/marketing educators in NYS
- To provide an opportunity for consultation and study of mutual problems
